On Saturday, August 7th, the vendors of the Catawba Valley Farmers Market
held their 2nd Farm-to-Table Dinner at the Catawba Community Center.
Against the backdrop of the beautiful Catawba Valley and a comfortable summer evening, friends and customers of the CVFM were treated to a delicious sit down dinner consisting
of pulled pork, roasted herb potatoes, seasoned zucchini & squash spears, cole slaw and bread. Appetizers consisting of pickled beets & squash relish were served
as well as strawberry preserves.
Also - DESSERT! Fresh apple cake with whipped cream completed
a nutritious and delicious country meal enjoyed in the great outdoors!
The vendors and staff of the Catawba Valley Farmers Market wish to say "Thank You"
to everyone who gathered with us on this day and enjoyed the fellowship and the fruits & labor of the vendors who provided home grown, delicious country cookin'
in a true country atmosphere!
